The event will take place on Tuesday, March 26, from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM ET, at the Revaluing Care Lab in Durham and online.
In the class Women at Work, led by Dr. Tania Rispoli, Alisson Rowland, a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of California, Irvine, examines how sex workers redefine care beyond conventional frameworks, positioning it as a transformative and relational process. This talk will consider how care practices emerge within sex work, challenging dominant narratives of vulnerability and exploitation.
