Situated at the intersection of science and technology studies and socio-anthropology of health and illness, Mauro Turrini investigates critically and empirically transformations in biomedicine, especially in the fields of procreation, and genetics. Working on the complex relationships between knowledge and power, I am currently interested in genetic epidemiology, risk devices, public health, and hormonal contraception.
