အသက်ကြီးလာတော့ အဓိကကတော့ ဘုရားပေါ့။

ဘုရားဘဲလုပ်တယ်။ ဘုရားမှတပါး အားကိုးစရာမရှိ။ ဗမာပြည်မှာဆို ကိုယ့်အသက်ကိုယ့်အရွယ်ဆို ဘုန်းကြီးကျောင်းသွား ဥပုသ်စောင့် သီလယူ။ ဒီမှာကျတော့လည်း အလုပ်နဲ့အိမ်။ နှီးဘုရားကျောင်းက ဘုန်းကြီးက တအားပြောတာ။ ဗမာတွေကို လှူလို့တဲ့ ကိုယ့်အိုးကိုယ့်အိမ်နဲ့ နေရတာမဟုတ်ဘူး အိမ်ငှားပြီးနေရပြီးတော့ လာပြီးလုပ်နေရတာကို ဗမာတွေကို တအားလှူတာတဲ့။ … ဘုန်းကြီးက ချက်က လှူတာနည်းလို့ပေါ့လေ ဘုန်းကြီးက အဲ့လိုပြောပြတယ်။ တအားပဲလေ ဗမာတွေက လှူတာ။ ဗမာတွေက ကိုယ်အိုး ကိုယ်အိမ်မဟုတ်ပေမယ့်လို့ အိမ်ငှားနဲ့ နေပေမယ့်လို့ လှူတဲ့အကြောင်းကို ဘုန်းကြီး ကချီးမွမ်းတယ်။ နှီးဘုရားဘုန်းကြီးက။

ဘုရားပဲ၊ သေလည်းဒါပဲ ကိုယ်နောက်ပါမှာလေ။ ဘုရားတရားပဲ။ ဘယ်သားသမီး ဘယ်ပစ္စည်း ကိုယ်ဘယ်လောက်ပဲရှာရှာ ကိုယ်နောက်မပါဘူးလေ။ ဒါကတော့ ကိုယ်သေရင် နောင်ဘဝမှာ ကောင်းလာမယ်။ ဘုန်းကြီးလည်းဆွမ်းကပ်ပါတယ် ဒီစျာပနကျောင်းက ဘုန်းကြီးလည်း ဆွမ်းကပ်ပါတယ် မနက်တိုင်း။ ကိုယ့်လုပ်ခဲ့တဲ့ ဒါနက နောင်ဘဝကိုယ့်အတွက်ပါအောင် ကိုယ်လုပ်တာပေါ့။ သားသမီးလည်းကိုယ့်နောက်မပါဘူး ပစ္စည်းဥစ္စာလည်းကိုယ်နောက်မပါဘူး။ ဒါကတော့ ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာရဲ့ အယူအဆပေါ့နော်။ တစ်ဘာသာနဲ့ တစ်ဘာသာတော့ မတူဘူးပေါ့။ ခရစ်ယာန်တို့လည်း အစ္စလာမ်တို့လည်း ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာထက်ကိုကောင်းတာပဲ။ခရစ်ယာန်ဆိုလည်း တနဂ်နွေနေ့တိုင်း ဘုရားကျောင်းကန်သွားကြတာပဲ။  ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာဆို လပြည့်လကွယ်ကျမှပဲ နေ့တိုင်းမသွားနိုင်ဘူး အိမ်ကဘုရားလောက်ပဲ လုပ်ရတာ။ အစ္စလာမ်ဆိုလည်း သောကြောနေ့တိုင်း သူတို့ဟာသူတို့ သွားကြတာပဲ အိမ်မှာလည်း ဖတ်တာပဲ သူတို့ဥစ္စာသူတို့။ အနီးစပ်ဆုံးမြင်ရသလောက်ပေါ့နော်။ နှိုက်နှိုက်ချွတ်ချွတ်တော့မသိဘူးပေါ့။ ခရစ်ယာန် သူတို့ဘုရားရှိခိုးကျောင်းသွားဖူးတယ်. သူတို့ တရားဟောဆရာ ဟောတာလည်း နားထောင်ဖူးတယ်။ ဘုရားက အဓိကပဲလေ။ ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာ ကိုးကွယ်တဲ့ဘာသာဆိုတော့လည်း ဘုရားကအဓိကလေ။ ဘုရားကမေ့လို့က မရဘူးလေ။ အိပ်ရင်းနဲ့ ဘုရားပဲနားထောင်။ သံဃာဟောတာပြောတာတွေ ဆွမ်းတော်ကပ်၊ သစ်သီးကပ်။ မနက်ပိုင်း အာရုံဆွမ်းကပ်။ မနက်စောစော အိပ်ယာထတယ် ။ မေတ္တာပို့ပေးတယ် တရားခွေတွေဖွင့်တယ် မနက်လင်းတိုင်းကျတော့။ ဘုရားရှိခိုး ပုတီးစိပ်။ ညအိပ်ယာဝင် ဆီမီးကပ်၊ ​ရေချမ်းကပ်။ ဒါနေ့တိုင်းလုပ်နေတဲ့အလုပ် ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာတွေရဲ့ ဓလေ့ပေါ့။ ညအိပ်ယာဝင်ပုတီးကိုးပတ်စိပ်တယ် ဘုရားအတွက် တစ်ပတ်ဆိုတော့ ၁၀ ပတ်စိပ်တယ် ညအိပ်ယာဝင်ရင်။ ပြုသမျှကုသိုလ်တွေကို အမျှဝေတယ်။ မကျွတ်တဲ့သတ္တဝါတွေဘာတွေ မေတ္တာလေးဘာလေးပို့ပေးရတာပေါ့။ ဒီမှာဆိုလည်း ဒီလိုမျိုး ဘာသာတူကြတယ်လေ ကိုးကွယ်တဲ့ဘာသာတူကြတော့ ဘုရားပဲ အဓိကထားရိုက်ကြတာပေါ့။ အကုန်လုံး ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာတွေချည်းပဲ။ ခရစ်ယာန်က ၂ ယောက်။ သူတို့ ဘုန်းကြီးဟောတာနဲ့ စာထဲနဲ့ အတူတူပါပဲ။ ကိုးကွယ်မှုတွေသာကွာတာ။  

We only have hpaja:. When we pass away, we can bring only our merits to the next life. We cannot bring our children and properties. Buddha’s teaching is good for our next life after passing away. We donate food to monks of a monastery nearby every morning. Our donations are for our next life. Our children and properties cannot be brought with us. This is Buddhism’s belief. Religions are different from one another. Christianity and Islam are better than Buddhism. Christians usually go to church every Sunday. Buddhists go to the monasteries and pagodas only on full moon and new moon days and worship the Buddha statue only at home. Muslims go to the mosque every Friday and also read God’s teachings at home. That’s as much as I know, but not in detail. I have visited a church and listened to their pastor.

Hpaja: is important. For Buddhists, hpaja: is critical. We should not forget hpaja:. While sleeping, I listen to Buddha’s teachings and Sangha’s interpretations of Buddha’s sermons… I made offerings to the Buddha, like food and fruits. In the morning, I offered morning alms to the Buddha. I woke up early and sent metta (love) to all beings. Usually, I turn on Buddha’s teaching audio in the morning. Worship and pray with the beads. Before going to bed at night, I offer candles and drinking water to Buddha. This is our daily activity and Buddhist custom. Before going to bed, I prayed with the beads 9 times plus 1 for Buddha, 10 in total. Shared our merits with all beings. Sent our love to those who passed away but couldn’t get to the next life yet. Here, all have the same religion; thus, we took mainly Buddhist photos. Everyone is Buddhist. Two Christians. Their monks’ teachings are the same as in our book.
